Will the trimmer cut length off my hair?

Nope! The trimmer is only set to trim of 1/8 of an inch.

Can I use the trimmer with wet hair?

We do not recommend that! The trimmer is not meant to be used with wet or greasy hair. When the strands stick together it does not allow the trimmer to do it's job and you can end up with an uneven trim.
